Hello Charlie were asked to work with Adidas and their creative director Yohji Yamamoto on the 2016 Autumn/Winter Y-3 fashion show. Working alongside two other designers, we developed a concept that fitted the monotone and minimalist aesthetic of the collection.
The show took place within the confines of a Parisian underground car park. The idea was to play with the audiences' sense of space and depth with the use of an IPIX DB1 screen at one end of the long narrow concrete cavity. Using clean, crisp, monotone 2D and 3D animations, we played with theme of infinity and graphic interpretations of space, which ran throughout the 15 minute fashion show.
