It was a pleasure to be asked back to work on the MTV EMAs 2015, this year taking place at the Mediolanum Forum in Assago, near Milan.
2015's brief was "dazzle." Working in a small team, we took the theme beyond the realms of dazzle, drawing on optical illusion patterns and art. After a complex development process and many a challenging composition using C4D and After Effects, we felt the final visuals really challenged the viewers mind.
This year our design was apparent throughout the event, from the main show to the red carpet, ID lanyards and outdoor venue branding.
