IRON MAN 2: INTERNET VIRAL CAMPAIGN

 
 

A series of internet viral campaigns for Iron Man 2. The brief: using YouTube, create a series of videos to help market and raise awareness for the upcoming release of the feature. The idea for all of the viral videos was to show how the invention of the Iron Man suit enabled other companies to take Tony Stark's technology, and use it to benefit the human race. Fujikawa have taken the heads up display (HUD) from the Iron Man helmet and created one that can be worn to help with everyday activities. Video calling, news updates and a matchmaker function are just a few of the HUD's key features. All graphics were created in the Iron Man style, with special attention being paid to the animation, which was key to it being believable.

Accutech have taken the Iron Man suit and created their own exoskeleton. In this viral we focus on the arm section, which makes ergonomically and physically strenuous tasks much more manageable, along with re-habilative benefits. This viral piece was very graphics heavy and required a number of different elements. The design of the Accutech logo, transition and caption graphics made this video a very complex affair.
